Day 1: Seminyak and Kuta
Morning: Start your day with a visit to Seminyak, a trendy beach town known for its chic boutiques, luxurious resorts, and world-class restaurants. Enjoy a stroll along Seminyak Beach, do some shopping, or relax by the pool at your hotel.
Afternoon: In the afternoon, head to Kuta, a more lively beach town with a great surfing scene. Take a surfing lesson, enjoy a sunset cocktail at a beach bar, or watch the traditional Balinese dance performance of Legong at Kuta Theatre.
Day 2: Ubud and the Monkey Forest
Morning: Make a day trip to Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali. Ubud is home to many art galleries, museums, and traditional craft workshops. Visit the Ubud Monkey Forest, a sanctuary for over 700 macaques, or take a yoga class in a beautiful setting.
Afternoon: In the afternoon, explore the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The rice terraces are a beautiful example of Bali’s traditional subak irrigation system. Take a walk through the terraces, learn about how they are cultivated, and enjoy the stunning views.
Day 3: Tanah Lot Temple and Uluwatu Temple
Morning: Start your day with a visit to Tanah Lot Temple, a beautiful Hindu temple perched on a rock formation off the coast of Bali. The temple is especially beautiful at sunset.
Afternoon: In the afternoon, head to Uluwatu Temple, another beautiful Hindu temple located on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. The temple is known for its stunning sunsets and its resident monkeys. Be sure to watch the Kecak dance performance, a traditional Balinese dance that tells the story of the Ramayana.
Day 4: Nusa Penida and Snorkeling
Take a day trip to Nusa Penida, an island off the coast of Bali known for its beautiful beaches, cliffs, and manta rays. Go snorkeling or diving in the crystal-clear waters, or explore the island’s many caves and beaches. Kelingking Beach, also known as “T-Rex Beach” due to its rock formation that resembles a T-Rex, is a must-see.
Day 5: Relaxation and Shopping
Morning: Spend the morning relaxing on the beach at your hotel. Enjoy a swim, sunbathe, or take a surfing lesson.
Afternoon: In the afternoon, do some shopping in Ubud or Seminyak. Bali is a great place to buy souvenirs, such as batik fabrics, wood carvings, and silver jewelry.
Evening: Enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Balinese restaurant and enjoy a performance of Balinese dance.
